Foes in real life – actually in the game of cricket – but friends in reel are Mahendra Singh Dhoni (Mahi to all),and renowned actress Preity Zinta who have been signed up by Emami as its new brand ambassadors. Dhoni and Zinta have teamed up to become the brand ambassadors for Emami’s edible oil brand. The celebrity duo has come together to do a TVC for the company’s brand. The ad film has been directed by ace ad-man Prahlad Kakkar in Mumbai. A special photo shoot featuring the duo was done by Dabboo Ratnani. The fighting spirit of the cricket field was re-enacted in the ad film,though ultimately it was a happy denouement with both Dhoni and Zinta turning friends. The 2500-crore Emami Group has a major presence in the personal and healthcare consumer products sector with more than 30 major brands in its portfolio. Dhoni and Zinta have joined an impressive and dynamic list of Emami’s star powers which include Amitabh Bachchan,Shah Rukh,Sourav Ganguly,Madhuri Dixit,Kareena Kapoor,Govinda,Chiranjeevi,and Mahesh Babu.
