CBI rejects closure report in forgery case

Rejecting the closure report filed by the CBI in a forgery case,the special CBI court on Thursday observed that the occupants are required to be dealt as per law and acceptance of a closure report shall lead to miscarriage of justice.

Rejecting the closure report filed by the CBI in a forgery case,the special CBI court on Thursday observed that the occupants are required to be dealt as per law and acceptance of a closure report shall lead to miscarriage of justice. Four people —Vishwas Kumar,Ram Bhagat,Om Prakash and Hari—were involved in allegedly selling 20 vacant unallocated transit sites in Sector 52,using forged documents.

A case was registered in March 2009 against all the accused under Section 420,467 and 471 of the IPC. The accused were also booked under Prevention of Corruption Act. After investigating the case the CBI had filled a closure report on July 5,2013.

The court of special CBI Judge on Thursday directed the CBI to further investigate the case.
