Tough challenge for Mehar
New Delhi: Defending champion Mehar Atwal will take on Aditi Ashok, the current leader on the Ladies and junior girls Order of Merit,as the Usha Southern India Ladies tees off at the KGA Bengaluru golf course. Aditi won the opening Ladies event, the Usha Delhi Ladies at the NOIDA Golf course in April. Aditi was in terrific form while winning the opening event in Delhi, but Mehar took some time warming and ended outside top-10. The KGA is also the home course for Aditi, who would like to make amends last year when she finished fifth. Gauri Monga, who took a long time off from the game to focus on her school leaving examinations,is also in the fray. The strong field also includes Gurbani Singh and Millie Saroha, who were second and third in Delhi Ladies event. Also in the fray is Gursimar Badwal, who was fourth in the event.
