Bring waste material into creative use: Nek Chand

Addressing the function,he went down the memory lane and remembered how he and his family members used to gather waste material from public places and put it to creative use in the creation of Rock Garden in 1958.

He told the gathering that his services were quite appreciated and even availed of in Paris,USA,Germany,Spain and London to create similar landmarks.

He urged the students to take a cue from his work and conduct new experiments as per the present requirement and system. School principal Avtar Singh Gill read out the annual report of the school and highlighted the achievements of its students in academics,sports and extra-curricular activities as well. Meritorious students in different fields were awarded.
