‘Capt against development of Punjab’
Ludhiana:
Launching a scathing attack on Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee president Captain Amarinder Singh,Youth Akali Dal patron Bikramjit Singh Majithia said: “Captain was anti-development.” He was responding to Amarinder Singh’s run down of the Bathinda oil refinery. Addressing a rally of Youth Akali Dal workers at Sahnewal on Tuesday,Majithia said: “The Bathinda oil refinery is one of the best things to happen to Punjab, for it will provide employment to nearly 32,000 people. There are only 20 such refineries in the entire nation and Bathinda oil refinery is one of the five new ones that are coming up. Captain Amarinder Singh had come to power promising development, but all he had done in his four years of governance was fight a petty war with the Badal family.”
