Woman cop thwarts man from crossing over to Pakistan

Amritsar: an alert Border Security Force constable,Mandeep Kaur,thwarted an attempt by an unknown person to sneak into Pakistan from near the Kahangarh post on the Indo-Pak border here early on Tuesday. She was on duty at the outpost when she saw the man trying to cross over the barbed fence into Pakistan from the Indian side. She opened fire and the man rushed back into the India side and fled,BSF officials said.
