Book on Kathua rape raises question on investigation

The author decided to investigate the case herself after the chargesheet filed by the Jammu and Kashmir police on April 10, 2018 didn’t provide justice. She said, “I was shocked to find that leading journalists unleashed a global vilification campaign against Jammu Hindus without even reading the bizarre chargesheet full of contradictions and nonsensical claims. They not only ignored the post mortem report, which does not support the charge of rape, but also the police account given the manner in which the girl was killed.”

Advocate Mittal said, “This is not just a book, but a complete investigation. We hope this will help in catching the real culprits and justice is delivered.”

The book is an amalgamation of five years of video recorded interviews, extensive analysis of legal documents, financial transactions, social media posts and other records. The purpose of the book is to help innocent people who are rotting in jail get due justice and get the real killers the punishment they deserve.
