BJP observes Vijay Divas

Commemorating the victory of the Kargil War,the youth and women wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party observed Shaurya Divas on Sunday. Under the leadership of its president Maheshinder Singh Sidhu,the city unit of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha organised a programme at the Chandigarh War Memorial in Sector 3,where its members paid floral tributes to the martyrs of the Kargil War. The Memorial was decorated with flowers and earthen lamps were lit. In the evening,the Mahila Morcha of BJP organised a programme at Sector-17 plaza.

Among those who participated were BJP State President Sanjay Tandon,Vice President Raghuvir Lal Arora,Treasurer Girdhari Lal Jindal,Secretary Sachin Lohtiya and other members of the party.
