…asks SAD to spell out agenda instead of Congress bashing

Criticising Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal for stringently opposing voting rights for Sehajdharis in the SGPC elections and accusing them of unnecessarily dragging the Congress into the controversy,Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee president Capt Amarinder Singh on Sunday asked the duo to spell out their SGPC poll agenda.

Urging the Badals to have a better look at the crowds that turn up for the SGPC election rallies,he said most of them were either Sehajdharis or patits.

“They are either not their voters as they won’t have any voting rights from the Badals’ standards or are hired to make up the numbers. The father-son duo have not spoken a word about improving Gurdwara management or Dharam Parchar, but have only resorted to Congress bashing,” he said.

The PCC president said Sukhbir and his father have started seeing his hand everywhere.

“They not only seem to be obsessed, but possessed as well,by some phantom of the Congress ghost that haunts them even during broad bright daylight. Otherwise why should they keep on reciting my name as if on a rosary,so frequently in their SGPC election speeches when they know too well that Congress is not even in the contest,” he added.

Capt Amarinder accused the Badals of looting and robbing Gurdwara assets. “Try to come out of the image of the golak chors,as people of Punjab identify you to be and do something good for the Panth,” Amarinder said.
