Another robbery attempt; 1 knifed

There was another robbery attempt in broad daylight on Friday morning,this time at the busy Dakshin Marg,Sector 33. The attackers stabbed a man in the neck and sped away in an open jeep parked near the Sector 33 petrol pump. The police first dismissed the incident as an accident. It was only after traders blocked Dakshin Marg that they registered an attempt to commit robbery case. Despite messages flashed by the Control Room,the assailants could neither be identified nor nabbed. The incident occurred when Narinder and Rajinder,working in computer shop Microcom in Sector 20,were going to deposit Rs 8 lakh at a bank.
