Former students of the School of Communication Studies, Panjab University, went down memory lane at the alumni meet on Friday.
The School of Communication Studies, PU, organised its annual Alumni Meet, REVIVRE-2015, at the Dr S S Bhatnagar Auditorium Hall.
The event started with the lighting the lamp ceremony by professor Jayanth N Pethkar, the chairperson of School of Communication Studies, accompanied by faculty members.
Pethkar delivered a welcome speech for the alumni, which was followed by a welcome song that included a video montage highlighting the fond memories of the alumni.
An Idea Exchange Forum was also introduced in which all the prestigious alumni interacted with the students and shared their experiences about the department and the media industry.
The students presented various cultural performances. A singing performance was organised reviving the old era of Bollywood.
Successful alumni of the department like RJ Golmaal Gagan and RJ Varun from 94.3 My FM were also present on the occasion and shared their experiences.
A wall-signing event and a photoshoot were also organised for all the alumni members to conclude the programme.
