After shooting at man,killers return to murder him

After firing at a person in the main market of Faridkot on Thursday,assailants returned to murder him again when they found that he had escaped death and was recuperating at a hospital.

Armed men shot at German Singh a resident of Golewal village in his face and fled from the scene thinking that he was dead. German,however,survived and was rushed to the Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital.

Later,when the attackers realised that German was alive and was being treated at the hospital,they once again attacked him inside the hospital with sharp edged weapons and fled.

German,however,survived again though his condition is stated to be critical. The doctors have now referred him to the Dayanand Medical College and Hospital in Ludhiana.

This is a case of gang war. We have constituted a special team to arrest the attackers. We have identified them and teams have been dispatched to various places to nab them, said Faridkot City SHO Balwinder Singh Bassi.
