After 7 days,cops register FIR in net banking fraud

On intervention of SP Panchkula,Maneesh Chaudhry,the police today registered a FIR after seven days of complaint against a net banking fraud. On May 13,Pawan Kumar Singhal,a resident of Sector 11,complained to the police that a sum of Rs 98,000 has been fraudulently withdrawn on the intervening night of May 12 and 13 through net banking from his account. “I had discovered the withdrawal of money on the morning of May 13 when I was checking through the account. Rs 98,000 was fraudulently withdrawn. I immediately changed my password. I further informed the bank office at Mumbai,who closed my net banking,” said Singhal. There was around Rs 3 lakh in his account.
