Imran Zahid was never really interested in making a grand entry to celluloid. “The whole action-packed or chocolate-hero thing never attracted me. I’m happy running a journalism institute and doing some theatre,” he says. The story of slain student leader Chandrashekhar Prasad, however, caught his attention. “Prasad was a people’s person who twice became president of the JNU students union. His assassination in 1997 saw a huge student agitation,” he says about the person he is going to portray in Bhatt’s film Chandu. “Prasad was known for his fight against corruption.
