60-year-old man run over by bus

A Punjab roadways bus driven in a rash and negligent manner snuffed out of the life of a 60-year-old pedestrian who was on his way to pay obeisance at a jagrata in Sector 44.

A Punjab roadways bus driven in a rash and negligent manner snuffed out of the life of a 60-year-old pedestrian who was on his way to pay obeisance at a jagrata in Sector 44. The mishap took place in the wee hours when Ram Kishan,a cobbler,was hit by Punjab Roadways bus near Colony number 5.

The victim’s son who was walking along with his father had a narrow escape. The Chandigarh Police have arrested the driver of the bus and registered a case against him on charges of causing death due to negligence.

The incident took place in the morning when Ram Kishan,a cobbler,was going towards Sector 44 on foot along with his son Ajay Kumar. Both are residents of Colony number 5 and were on their way to Sector 44.
