4-yr-old boy falls in swimming pool

A four-year-old boy fell into the swimming pool of a resort in Nadiali village in Mohali late on Sunday evening.

A four-year-old boy fell into the swimming pool of a resort in Nadiali village in Mohali late on Sunday evening. The child had come with his parents for a dinner at Vaseela Resort.

His father Dilpreet Singh Bindra rescued him and rushed him to Fortis Hospital. The condition of Dwijraj Singh is said to be stable. The incident took place around 9.45 pm.

The family of the child blamed the resort management for not cooperating. When we asked them for help,they did not cooperate, the childs mother said.

The managing director of the resort termed the incident unfortunate. We mobilised our staff immediately but the father of the child had already jumped into the pool. We also sent our representative to the hospital, the director said.
