3-day PGI workshop on ENT from today

The Department of Otolaryngology,Head and Neck surgery,PGI is going to conduct a three-day surgical workshop,which will start today,titled “Rehabilitation of vision,voice and hearing”. Dr Ashok Gupta,organising chairman and professor in PGI’s department of Otolaryngology said,“Cochlear implantation is a highly advanced and technically demanding surgery done on patients who are deaf.” PGI performs 60 cochlear implantations per year and plays a major role in fighting deafness. This workshop will stage at least 13 surgeries including functional endoscopic sinus surgeries.
