26 Tricity students shine at 2013 Intnl Olympiad

As many as 26 tricity students have obtained a good result at the International Olympiad 2013. The 16th international award ceremony of the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) was organised at New Delhi recently to felicitate international winning students,teachers and principals of Olympiad exams for this academic year.

During the function,awards were given to the top three international rank holders from classes one to XII. Winners from classes 7 to 12 won Rs 50,000 each,the rank two holders won Rs 25,000 each and those who ranked third won Rs 10,000. Winners from classes 1 to 6 were awarded iPads.

Some of the tricity awardees to receive medals and certificates were Inesh Dheer and Abhinav Bahri,Nikhil Bery from Bhavan Vidyalaya Junior School,Pavit Singh,Ishaan Shrivastava from Strawberry Fields World School,Sector 26,Toshali Pandey from Ryan International School,Chandigarh. Nimesh Goel from Mount Carmel School,Chandigarh and Rehmat Singh Chawla from The Millennium School,Mohali were also honoured.
