2 school girls hurt in mishap

Two shoolchildren were injured in Sector 26 when a school bus hit a road side tree on Madhya Marg on Wednesday morning. The police said a bus ferrying the children from Senior Secondary Model School hit the tree at 7.30 am,in which two children received minor injures. The cops said that the injured girls were identified as Jyoti and Kansal,both students of class VII. The police said that no case was registered as both the school and family of the children refused to register a complaint against the driver. “The bus had slipped from the road and hit the tree. The school did not lodge any complaint; so we did not register any case,” said an officer at the Sector 26 police station.
