2 children die during rainfall

Two children in the 8-9 year age group died after they were washed away in the rain waters in Jhuggi Jhmpri Colony,Sector 8,HUDA,Ambala City,on Saturday. Both the children were rag pickers and had gone out from their homes early in the morning when it started raining. The boys were identified as Bitoo,son of Ram Chander,and Suraj,son of Telu Ram.

Both Chander and Ram said that when the boys didn’t turn up after the rains stopped,they suspected that they had gone missing and a search was started. The bodies were found in a nullah flowing near Sector 8.
