Poojary’s death has occurred at a time when there has been a noticeable increase in sudden deaths due to heart attacks, particularly among young people. The Karnataka government has established a committee of experts and scientists to investigate these incidents.
The committee was set up after the public raised concerns over the possible side-effects of Covid-19 vaccines. The committee’s report has not yet been made public, but sources indicate that lifestyle choices, more than the Covid-19 vaccine, have been a primary factor in the deaths of young people.
