In an advisory, the Bengaluru traffic police said movement of traffic is allowed on one side between KR Road and Cubbon Road Junction and Cauvery Arts and Crafts.
The advisory said, “Traffic coming from Mayo Hall can turn right at the Cauvery Arts and Crafts junction and move towards KR Road and Cubbon Road junction, from where it can take a left turn to reach BRV or move straight towards commercial street or take a right turn to reach Manipal Centre.”
Officials have directed traffic coming from Anil Kumble junctions to take a left at Cauvery Arts and Craft junction and move towards K R Road and Cubbon road junction.
With the closure of the road, motorists going towards Shivajinagar or Commercial Street had to go via Anil Kumble Circle or Webbs Garage and then take a turn. Due to this, commuters had been experiencing traffic blocks along several stretches along MG Road.
