Bengaluru cop arrested for allegedly raping minor; she complained of multiple sexual assaults

Vicky befriended the minor, lured her promising marriage and allegedly assaulted her sexually multiple times. He was already married.

According to the victim’s mother, she met Arun when she went to the Bommanahalli police station to file a complaint. “Arun, who was on duty, received the complaint and assured them he would provide justice. He also promised to provide a job to the victim. In December last year, he allegedly made the victim consume alcohol in a lodge and raped her. He recorded a video of the incident and blackmailed the victim with threats of leaking it,” a police officer said, quoting the complaint.

Vicky and Thonepa and have been remanded in judicial custody.
