Aircraft makes emergency landing at HAL airport after experiencing problems with nose landing gear
According to the HAL spokesperson, “Both pilots are safe. There was no damage to the runway. Recovery of disabled aircraft is in progress.”

A Beech 390 Premier IA aircraft (VT-KBN) Tuesday made an emergency landing at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) airport, Bengaluru after its nose landing gear did not extend fully for the landing.
HAL spokesperson Gopal Sutar said, “An aircraft belonging to private aviation, took off to Bangalore International Airport and returned to HAL due to landing gear issue. On detailed inquiry and study, it was found that the nose wheel was not fully down. The aircraft was cleared for an emergency landing. After taking all safety precautions including steps taken for the runway to avoid fire, the aircraft made a landing without a nose wheel.”
He further clarified, “Both pilots are safe. There was no damage to the runway. Recovery of disabled aircraft is in progress.”
A nose wheel is a landing gear wheel under the nose of an aircraft.
