Thai visa centre launched in Ahmedabad

A Thai visa application and precessing centre was inaugurated in Ahmedabad on Friday in association with Cox & Kings Global Services.

While inaugurating the centre Thailand Consul General,Mumbai,Tomwit Jarnson said in 2011,a total of 14 million tourists arrived in the from across the world,out of which 9.10 lakh tourists were Indians. Further,from western India maximum number of tourists were from Gujarat.

Jarnson said that last year a total of 1.50 lakh visa applications were processed in Mumbai,out of which about 50 per cent were from Gujarat.
