Surat city comes out to celebrate on streets

The party’s youth brigade (Yuva Morcha) took out rally from Kapodara area to Varachha Sardar Smurti hall area of the city.

For the entire Surat city,it was like Diwali festival. The people burnt fire crackers and distributed sweets,after BJP announced Chief Minister Narendra Modi as party’s prime ministerial candidate for the next Lok Sabha elections.

Mayor Niranjan Zazmera and Surat city MP Darshana Jardosh also came out on the street from Municipal Corporation main office building after the announcement and joined the celebrating crowd.

On the occasion,Surat city Mayor said,“We are very much happy that BJP has declared Narendra Modi as party’s PM candidate. It is a proud that a man from

Gujarat will lead the country. We are sure that under the leadership of Modi,NDA will form government in 2014 elections.”

Surat city BJP president Purnesh Modi said,“It was the wish of each and every worker,leader and youth of country that Narendra Modi should lead India in 2014. The dream of Swami Vivekanand will now be fulfilled. After 2014,we (BIP) will form government and our country will become super power in the world.”
