The Gujarat Assembly will meet for a four-day session starting September 30,officials announced in Ahmedabad on Monday.
It has been decided that the Assembly will meet from September 30 to October 3, officials said.
Out of the four-day session,called by the state government,there is public holiday on October 2 for Gandhi Jayanti. Thus,the session will be of three days effectively.
Leader of Opposition in Gujarat Assembly Shankarsinh Vaghela had earlier demanded that the monsoon session should be held for a longer period.
