Ravindra Jadeja has joined BJP, says Rivaba
Talking to the media during a public outreach drive organised on her birthday in Jamnagar, Rivaba said that she facilitated his enrollment as a member of the BJP.

All-round cricketer Ravindra Jadeja has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party during the party’s ongoing drive, said his MLA wife and also a party member Rivaba Jadeja on Thursday.
Talking to the media during a public outreach drive organised on her birthday in Jamnagar, Rivaba said that she facilitated his enrollment as a member of the BJP.
“If we begin from our family and then go to people and appeal to them, they will be convinced. So, I facilitated his enrollment. When we start this campaign (of enrollment) in Jamnagar Assembly constituency, I can say with pride that my family is associated with the BJP,” she said.
Rivaba’s announcement comes two days after she posted on her Facebook page photos of Ravindra and herself with the BJP’s lotus symbol and a hashtag #sadasyataabhiyan2024.
Rivaba and Ravindra had tied the knot in April 2016. The couple live in Rajkot as well as Jamnagar. They also run a restaurant in Rajkot called Jaddu’s Food Field. Rivaba had formally joined the BJP in March 2019 in the run up to the Lok Sabha election that year.
At 32, Rivaba had contested and won the Assembly polls in 2022 from Jamnagar North seat, defeating Bipendrasinh Jadeja of Congress and Karshan Karmur of Aam Aadmi Party.
