Property prices may go up by 15%

Students death: Cops take parents statements

AHMEDABAD: The Ahmedabad police probing the suicide case of a post-graduate medical student,who jumped to death over the issue of fee hike in medical college,took statements of the victims parents. However,the police reportedly explained them that noon could be particularly held responsible in an issue that is affecting all medical students not just the victim.

AMC offers rebate in property tax

Ahmedabad: The city municipal corporation standing committee has decided to offer rebate in property tax to those who pay it from September 7 to October 10. This would be available for the period during which old formula of property tax was due and it would not be allowed in the case of closed mills,said the committee.
