Posing as cops,3 con men rob woman

A 60-year old woman was robbed of her gold jewellery worth over Rs 1.5 lakh by three men posing as policemen. Kokila Mehta of Memnagar was going to Derasar (Jain Temple) at Subhash Chowk when the three men approached her and asked her to remove her jewellery,telling her it was not safe in view of the increasing number of looting incidents in the city. According to a complaint filed by the woman with the Vastrapur police,she removed the gold bangles and necklace she was wearing and put it in her bag,but before she could realise,the three relieved her of the ornaments. She realised she was robbed only after she came back home.
