PIL moved in HC to stop ‘PMO,MHA interference’ in Ishrat case

The Gujarat High Court on Friday adjourned hearing on a public interest litigation that has sought directions from the court to the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to stop allegedly interfering in the investigation of 2004 Ishrat Jahan fake encounter case.

The petitioner had sought time to file an additional affidavit in the matter following which the court adjourned the hearing for Monday.
