The Maharaja Sajajirao University (MSU) on Tuesday launched a website to facilitate online admission to various programmes being offered by the university. The university has uploaded a detailed notice of courses offered by it to the website,www.msub.digitaluniversity.ac,where one can get information on eligibility criteria, dates of admission process and fee structure.

“This is the first step towards automation of university activities. By the end of this year,we should be able to declare all our results online. Automation of other two processes, accounts and administration, will be done in a year’s time,” MSU vice-chancellor Yogesh Singh said.

The online admission process will be time-saving,transparent and economical,he said. “Students from outside Vadodara and state seeking admission to MSU will be particularly benefited by this facility since they wouldn’t be required to visit the campus for purchase of form,” he said.

A student, once enrolled in the course offered by the MSU,will get an e-suvidha account through which he will be informed about timetables, classes, examination schedules, declaration of results and academic calendars. He or she will also receive information on the cellnumber registered by him.
