Missing 13-year-old boy found dead

Three days after a 13-year-old boy went missing in Bhachchu,his body was found from an abandoned house located outside his residential society,on Thursday. Preliminary investigation revealed that boy was murdered using a sickle and some heavy objects.

“The body of Mauji Devipujak (13) was found from an abandoned house located outside Ramwadi society,a posh area on Bhachchu. The house was severely damaged in the 2001 quake. A sickle was found from the site. But it appeared boy was clubbed too,” said an officer. He said the body was found half-naked and they are awaiting the postmortem report.

The boy’s father,Ramji,had registered a missing complaint with the police on Tuesday.
