Hapa-Tirunelveli train to run twice a week

Gujarat will get its Swarnim Jayanti gift from the Railways in the form of increase in the frequency of a long distance train connecting Gujarat with Tamil Nadu. From May 1,the Tirunelveli-Hapa Express will run twice a week,said a release issued by the Western Railway on Tuesday.

It says the railway administration has decided to run train Tirunelveli-Hapa twice in a week in place of the present once a week. Accordingly,train (2998) Hapa-Tirunelveli Express will leave from Hapa on every Friday and Saturday,while train number 2997 will leave Tirunelveli for Hapa on every Monday and Tuesday,the release said.
