Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended a ceremony to unveil a giant statue of Lord Hanuman and a community kitchen at Kashtabhanjan Hanuman temple in Salangpur on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti Thursday. Addressing a gathering at the event, Shah said that coincidentally, Thursday was also the 44th foundation day of the BJP. But the announcer at the event added that it was also the birthday of Shah’s granddaughter. Shah, his wife, son Jay, daughter-in-law and two granddaughters were present when the statue was unveiled.
