GPBS 2025: Over 1,600 companies to participate in mega event set to be held from January 9 to 12

Like last year, the fifth edition of the Global Patidar Business Summit (GPBS) scheduled to be held from January 9 to 12 in Gandhinagar this year will be open to people from all communities, said the organisers on Monday.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will preside over the inauguration ceremony, along with Union Cabinet Ministers C R Paatil and Mansukh Mandaviya.

Over 1,600 companies are expected to represent their businesses at this mega-expo, which will cover more than 100,000 square metres of the Helipad Exhibition Center, Gandhinagar.

Gagajibhai Sutaria, President, Sardardham, organisers of the event, said, “Our effort is to institutionalise the way to connect the aspirations of the youth with Indian and international investors. This expo has set a national benchmark, which has been successfully followed by many states, thus strengthening the Indian economy. As always, GPBS continues to achieve new heights with the vision of a prosperous Gujarat for Atmanirbhar Bharat.”

This expo will feature industrialists from various sectors including FMCG, solar, engineering, banking, education, and many others. Like every year, we are confident that this expo will accelerate several industries, leading to growth in the country’s GDP.”

The expo will provide complete guidance to the youth and new startup entrepreneurs of the country, with a special emphasis on empowering women by providing them with a platform. Thus, GPBS is a platform offering excellent opportunities for everyone,” Jashwantbhai Patel, vice president, Sardardham (Gandhinagar), said.

This year’s expo will also feature businessmen and motivational speakers who will guide new entrepreneurs.

Also, the GPBS 2025 – National Expo has been designed to give a boost to new startup industries.

The GPBS Business Expo was first held at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar in 2018, followed by editions at Helipad Ground, Gandhinagar in 2020, Sarasana Exhibition Center, Surat in 2022, and New Ring Road, Rajkot in 2024.

The sixth edition of the Summit will be held in Florida, USA in August 2026, Sutaria told the Indian Express.
