GNLU student dies by suicide in hostel room

According to the Police Station Officer (PSO) at Infocity police station in Gandhinagar, where an accidental death (AD) report was filed in the matter, “His batchmates had gone to his room at night but he didn’t open the door. They called the hostel warden who broke open the door and found his body inside.”

The body was sent for post-mortem. Gandhinagar SP Ravi Teja Vasamsetty confirmed the incident  and said that the police were speaking to students and others on campus to ascertain the reason, which drove Gaint to take the step.
