Fishermen warned against venturing into sea

The Meteorological Department has issued a level three warning in the coastal regions of Saurashtra and south Gujarat and has warned fishermen against venturing into the sea.

The Meteorological Department has issued a level three warning in the coastal regions of Saurashtra and south Gujarat and has warned fishermen against venturing into the sea.

The warning comes in the wake of a depression in the Arabian Sea. Officials of the state Met Department said the depression is likely to hit the coast of south Gujarat late in the evening. According to them,winds are likely to blow at 45-55 kmph,which may go up to 65 kmph as depression nears the coast.
