The Australian High Commissioner to India,Patrick Suckling,met Chief Minister Narendra Modi in Gandhinagar on Friday and invited him to visit Australia. Apart from discussing areas of cooperation and partnership,the Australian official formally invited Modi,according to an official release from the state government. Suckling in his talks with Modi emphasised on how Australia,during the last decade,has been laying special emphasis on improving relations with Gujarat. The High Commissioner also discussed the emerging sectors like education,sports,agriculture,dairy technology,water management and others,where Australia could cooperation with Gujarat. The CM also invited Australia to participate in the Vibrant Gujarat Global Agritech Summit and Exhibition to be held in September and asked to participate in the 2015 Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit.
