Even as the Gujarat Assembly is in session, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel went to Delhi Tuesday afternoon.

The reasons behind the CM’s visit to Delhi were not known with political circles abuzz with speculations over the same.

Top sources in the government confirmed that the CM had gone to Delhi and was expected to return late night on Tuesday.

The CM attended the Question Hour of the Gujarat Assembly Tuesday and also attended a function to celebrate International Forest Day at Mahatma Mandir in the morning.

A party source said that the CM must have gone to attend a dinner party thrown by Gujarat BJP president CR Paatil in Delhi for the Gujarat MPs.
