New Tulip International School, Anand Niketan School, Sant Kabir School, Prakash School, Maharaja Agrasen School and DAV School recorded a pass percentage of 100 in Class 10 and in certain streams of Class 12 examinations.
GUJARAT HAS recorded an overall pass percentage of 96.73 and 92.96 in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 and 12 examinations, respectively. The results, which were declared on Tuesday, showed that in both Class 10 and 12 exams, girls beat boys.
Also, most of the major schools in the city recorded a 100 per cent pass percentage.
Out of a total of 42,421 students — 24,420 boys and 18,001 girls — who appeared in the Class 10 exams, 23,454 boys and 17,579 girls passed. Thus a pass percentage of 96.73 per cent was recorded. While the pass percentage for boys is 96.04, girls recorded a pass percentage of 97.66.
In the Class 12 exams, out of a total of 32,694 students — 18,572 boys and 14,122 girls — who appeared from three different streams, 17,006 boys and 13,386 girls (total 30,392 students) passed, registering an overall pass percentage of 92.96. While the pass percentage for boys stood at 91.57, it is 94.79% for girls.
