Boy dies in roof-top collapse

Hamir Vadher (16),a student of class X,died on the spot when the roof-top he had climbed on to witness the procession of the newly elected councillors collapsed on Tuesday evening.

Sources said the roof-top was made of asbestos and a broken asbestos sheet hit the boy’s neck. The boy was rushed to the Junagadh Civil Hospital where he died before the treatment can be started. Vadher,a resident of Una town,studied in New best School in the city and stayed in a hostel located in Joshipura area.
