The Gujarat BJP Monday organised a meeting of social media influencers from the state at a posh hotel on Sindhu Bhavan Road in Ahmedabad as it is celebrating the completion of nine years of the Narendra Modi government at the Centre. Around 250-300 social media influencers who have more than one lakh followers on social media were invited for the meeting, party sources said. It covered people from various segments of social media, including food bloggers and artists. Sources added the idea was to create awareness among the influencers' community about the efforts and achievements of the Modi government in the past nine years. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and state BJP chief CR Paatil were present at the meeting. The month-long celebration has been organised at various levels in the state between May 30 and June 30, an official release stated. A special outreach exercise will also be launched during this period, the release added.
