The student-run youth organisation AIESEC will organise a painting and clay modelling workshop-cum competition titled Bal Kalakar for the underprivileged students on November 15. Over 7,000 students are expected to participate in the event.
We will have students from slums and municipal corporation schools in the city. These students are very skilled in hand-based work and they will be guided by professors from the Fine Arts faculty to hone their skills, said Dhara Ganusinghani,vice president,Communications,AIESEC.
The students will make paintings and models based on the issues of environment,education and Baroda of my dreams.
After the competitions,we also plan to exhibit all the paintings and clay models to encourage the students, Ganusinghani said.
