Gold prices witnessed a modest decline on Wednesday (March 27) with prices of yellow metal scheduled for April delivery declining by 0.04 per cent to Rs 66,088 for 10 grams at 11:30 am.

As per Goodreturns website, the price for gold stands at Rs 6,135 per gram for 22 karat gold and Rs 6,693 per gram for 24 karat gold (999 gold)

2) Mumbai – The price of gold in Mumbai today is Rs 6,135 per gram for 22 karat gold and Rs 6,693 per gram for 24 karat gold.

3) Chennai – The price of gold in Chennai today is Rs 6,215 per gram for 22 karat gold and Rs 6,780 per gram for 24 karat gold.

4) Bengaluru – The price of gold in Bangalore today is Rs 6,135 per gram for 22 karat gold and Rs 6,693 per gram for 24 karat gold.

5) Kochi- The price of gold in Kochi today is Rs 6,135 per gram for 22 karat gold and Rs 6,693 per gram for 24 karat gold.

6) Ahmedabad – The price of gold in Ahmedabad today is Rs 6,140 per gram for 22 karat gold and Rs 6,698 per gram for 24 karat gold.

International gold price

Spot gold prices edged lower due to an uptick in the dollar Spot gold was down 0.1 per cent at $2,197.20 per ounce, as of 11:30 am IST. The dollar index strengthened 0.1 per cent against its rivals, making gold more expensive for other currency holders.

Gold prices have risen more than 5 per cent so far this year and hit a record high last week.

“It’s difficult to construct an overly bearish case for gold prices with the current backdrop of geopolitics and potential central easing,” City Index senior analyst Matt Simpson said to Reuters.
