IndiGo will launch daily direct flights from Bengaluru to Bali, starting March 29, the airline announced Monday.
The duration of the two flights – 6E 1605 and 6E 1606 – operating from Bengaluru to Denpasar, and vice versa, will be a little more than ten hours.
The budget carrier had launched operations in Jakarta last year. Denpasar in Bali is hence its second destination in Indonesia and the 33rd international destination to be included in its network.
The decision was taken “to cater to the substantial surge in Indian tourists travelling to the island of Bali”, a statement released by the airline said.
“With the launch of these new flights, we aim to not only strengthen the ties between India and Indonesia but also promote tourism and foster potential business collaborations,” Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, said.
