NIRF Rankings 2024: Maintaining its top position, IIT Madras has clinged to the top spot under the overall category followed by Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, IIT Bombay and IIT Delhi and IIT Kanpur.
In order to be ranked, all the higher education institutions are assessed on five parameters: teaching, learning and resources, research and professional practices, graduation outcomes, outreach and inclusivity, and perception.
Last year, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore grabbed the top spot followed by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) New Delhi and Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi at number three.
