Surbhi Jyoti

The 28-year-old Punjabi-girl, Surbhi is famous for five of her consecutive roles in the TV series Qubool Hai on ZeeTV. Being born in Jalandhar, she has worked in Punjabi language films, Ik Kudi Punjab Di, Raula Pai Gaya and Munde Patiala De as well as the Punjabi television series' Akiyaan To Door Jayen Na and Kach Diyan Wanga. In 2012, she got selected for the role of the female protagonist in Qubool Hai. and has also been felicitated with three awards both at the Zee Gold Awards and the Indian Television Academy Awards. The actress has also been an anchor and has hosted three seasons of the love drama Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya opposite Meiyang Chang. After Qubool Hai went off-air in January 2016, she got an opportunity to host a travel based web show Desi Explorers Taiwan along with many other television actors. She is also going to feature in another web-show named Tanhaiyan as Meera Kapoor opposite Barun Sobti and Karan Wahi.
