Sanjay Jaiswal is a political leader from Bihar and a member of the Bhartiya Janata Party. He is the incumbent Member of the Parliament from Bihar’s Paschim Champaran Lok Sabha constituency. He was born on November 29, 1965, in Patna, Bihar, and is the son of former MP Madan Prasad Jaiswal and Saroj Jaiswal. He received his M.B.B.S. from Patna Medical College and his M.D. from Darbhanga Medical College, both in Darbhanga.
His political career started in 2009 when he ran for and was elected to the Lok Sabha from the BJP's Paschim Champaran seat. Since then, he has successfully retained the seat in the party's Bihar unit in the elections that followed in 2014 and 2019, therefore securing his place as a pivotal figure.
He was also the party president of Bhartiya Janata Party in Bihar from September 2019 to March 2023.
