ABOUT Ranbir Kapoor
Ranbir Kapoor is an Indian actor who has appeared in Hindi films. He is the son of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor and the grandson of actor-director Raj Kapoor. Ranbir is believed to be one of the finest actors of his generation. The actor has studied film-making and method acting at the School of Visual Arts and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, respectively. Ranbir has also assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali on the film Black (2005). He made his acting debut with Bhansali's Saawariya (2007). Ranbir achieved greater stardom with films including Rockstar, Barfi, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Raajneeti. The success of romantic comedy Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani co-starring Deepika Padukone established Kapoor as one of the leading actors of Bollywood. He won two consecutive Filmfare awards for Rockstar and Barfi. Ranbir saw a string of flops with Besharam, Bombay Velvet and Roy. However, he finally had a hit with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in 2016.
